Built from loops recorded by hand on banjo, baglama saz, yayli tanbur, cura cumbus saz, hulusi, tumbi, and not a single guitar. Having broken my only midi device, I decided to tap into my acoustic collection. Some keyboards and synths still found their way in there because my mic couldn't reach the piano downstairs and I don't own any percussion. Fans of crisp, clean mastering be warned: while I have worked hard on getting these sounding nice, a proper in-home studio simply isn't available to me. WAS/AM is an attempt to capture as many of my non-vocal influences as possible. If one track is annoying/sucks please give the next one a listen as I have tried to stylistically contrast each of them as much as possible.
